Bargain Bin Bonanza: The Who: Then and Now

There are three classic bands that no matter what can put me in a good mood; they are The Beatles, The Stones and The Who.

I mean I also enjoy a bit of Toto, Dolly and Bowie to make me happy but to even mention that would mean I have digressed.

I have digressed.

Upon walking into JB this week I was greeted with the delightful sounds of Pete, Roger (now a proud fish farm owner) and the boys and I was immediately filled with joy; that is until I realised I have never owned a complete The Who album. I made a beeline for The Who and was lucky enough to discover this little delight was reduced to $9.99.

I was winning like Charlie Sheen.

The Who: Then and Now is a compilation album released in 2004 and featured 18 of their classic tracks and two brand spankers.

This album is a perfect introduction for people to The Who. It has all the classics, My Generation, Pinball Wizard, I Can See For Miles…and for the CSI fans Who Are You and Won’t Get Fooled Again.

As I said at the beginning of this article The Who make me sublimely happy so for me this album is four discount stickers and a big loud Caruso scream from the beginning of CSI: Miami.

Looks like it was this bloggers…day *lower sunglasses*

ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!
