Bargain Bin Bonanza: Pulp Fiction Soundtrack

I welcome you to the review of the second album that was part of my 3 for $20 deal at JB, the Pulp Fiction soundtrack.

This album automatically gets five discount stickers for featuring my favourite movie conversation, the Royale with Cheese conversation between John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson.

Not only has it provided me with a wealth of knowledge of what other names McDonalds burgers go by, it also is hilarious. Thankfully, the soundtrack as a whole lived up to the high standard of this dialogue and the movie.

This album has cemented my belief that Quentin Tarantino is the second best director at collating the perfect soundtrack (Sofia Coppola is hands down the best…try argue with me…no, try). His musical selections are an integral part of setting the tone and mood of his movies and dare I say it, are a huge factor in making his movies so damn enjoyable.

The album is an eclectic mix of soul, blues and what I have decided is surf rock, genre police be damned! It is an album that you can’t help having a little boogie to and fills you with unadulterated joy.

As I’ve already said, this album gets five discount stickers and two hands holding a Royale with Cheese.

Delicious.
