RDOs Amigos: Hanging with my nephew

Mark it down; my last two RDOs are the best I have ever had.

Why?

I was lucky enough to meet my beautiful new nephew…and it was amazing.

Being the youngest in my family, I never had the joy of being around a newborn baby that has just extended your family, and in turn extended your capacity to love. It is so amazing.

I think my mother put it best when gushing about him last night…

“He is just so perfect. He cries and I think it is beautiful. He vomits on me and it’s the most adorable thing I’ve seen.”

Hell, he farted on my hand three times in the space of a minute and I was giddily happy.

Watching my brother and sister-in-law become parents is also a delight to watch. These are people I have always looked up to, yet are my generation…and they now have a family and are so protective and caring.

It is amazing.

I think I will stop this article short as the gushing is no doubt making most of you sick…and I would hate to crack having ten “amazings” in an article.

I will finish with this however…my nephew is adorable and perfect.

Little man, you have so much love coming your way and if you ever need anything you know your new Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents are more than willing to help out. Plus, I’m really looking forward to buying you Lego so you can watch me assemble it. Uncle Ben misses Lego.

Best two days…ever.
