Heard on the Selling Floor

I think some people don’t get out much, so when they do get to mingle with the general public, they are socially awkward.

That, or they are just straight up weird.

Last Friday night a son came shopping with his parents.

The mother approached me staring intently at my chest. As I don’t have boobs, I decided that it must have been for her to read my badge and call me by name.

This shits me on a good day, however what followed was quietly possibly the strangest thing I’ve ever heard.

“Hello, (still staring at the three letters emblazoned on my badge) B-en. Well that’s easy to remember, Ben. Like God”.

Um…in the words of my lovely manager, WOW!
