Heard on the Selling Floor

Another day, another chance for revenge against idiot customers.

In the early stages of the blog, I wrote about my disgust of the one worded question.

Today, I was simply asked a question with a solitary letter. Needless to say, I was filled with rage.

It was just after we opened this morning and a customer was looking through my sale racks.

I opted to continue tidying rather than making idle chitchat. That could have been my downfall.

The customer approached me with a large t-shirt in hand, pointed at the size tag and said, “M?”

Rage rose rapidly.

“No no, that one says L, but nice try! Very close!”

I turned and left.

I think it has more impact if you leave.
